Google Launches Gemini AI.

Google

Google has launched a new AI model called Gemini, which is integrated into the Google Bard chatbot. Gemini is a generative AI that can handle images, video, text, and audio, and it is Google’s “largest and most capable” AI model yet. The initial model is currently only available for the English language setting of Bard and will continue rolling out to many more Google products in the “coming months.” Gemini comes in three sizes: Gemini Ultra, Gemini Pro, and Gemini Nano, with the Pro version outperforming OpenAI’s GPT-3.5. A version of the model, called Gemini Pro, is available inside of the Bard chatbot right now. However, Gemini is not available for general public use yet, and it is not clear when it will be available for individual users. Gemini is expected to be used in a wide range of applications, including generative search, ads, and Chrome. The launch of Gemini is seen as a significant milestone in the development of AI and is expected to intensify the competition in the AI space.

Gemini AI chatbot, which powers Google Bard, is designed to be more powerful and capable than other chatbots. Here’s how it compares to other chatbots:

Google

Multimodal capabilities: Unlike other chatbots that rely on plugins and integrations for multimodal tasks, Gemini has native multimodal capabilities, allowing it to handle text, code, audio, images, and videos

.
Product-focused approach: Gemini is more product-focused than other models, as it is integrated into Google’s ecosystem or planned to be integrated, powering both Bard and Pixel 8 devices

Other models like GPT-4 and Llama are more service-oriented and available for various third-party developers.

Performance: Gemini is said to generate more accurate responses and come closer to mimicking human reasoning compared to other chatbots

.
Speed of development: Gemini’s development has been rapid, with Google announcing its release just a year after the launch of ChatGPT

.
Scalability: Gemini comes in three sizes (Gemini Ultra, Gemini Pro, and Gemini Nano), allowing it to scale across a wide range of tasks

While Gemini is still not available for general public use, it promises to be a significant advancement in the field of AI and chatbots. The competition between Google and other tech giants, such as OpenAI, is driving massive investment and rapid advances in AI, reshaping the global technology landscape

Benefits of usi Gemini AI:
